Cultivation: Truffle
Solidwater® is used to increase water and nutrient retention in soils.
Likewise, it acts as a water reserve in order to release it according to the needs of the plants. This allows improving plant development and production.
Observed Benefits of Solidwater
Reduces irrigation frequency by up to 50% and the need to use fertilizers.
Increases available water content and reduces fertilizer leaching.
It does not lose its water absorption-release capacity after drought.
After 50 humidity-drought cycles, the rehydration capacity of this retainer is greater than 80%.
In new plantations, it improves the survival of trees after transplanting.
It helps reduce soil compaction, generating an increase in the water infiltration rate. This increase in the infiltration rate causes less water runoff, thereby reducing erosion.
Environmentally safe and biodegradable.
Established plantations
Application of the product without hydrating. Dig two furrows about 30-40 cm deep on both sides of the planting row. Next, divide the product to be applied into 4 parts (2 for each part of the tree). Apply ¼ of the total dose at the bottom of the furrow. Then, cover the furrow with about 10-20 cm of fill soil, apply another ¼ of the total dose and cover the furrow (same for the other furrow).
Fruit doses: 260-360 gr/tree.
New plantations
Application of the product without hydrating. Size the planting hole so that it can contain the tree's root ball and additional space for root development.
Subsequently, add 1/3 of the recommended dose of product to the bottom of the hole. Of the excavation soil necessary to cover the hole, separate 1/3 of this soil for the final coverage (about 5 cm), to the remaining 2/3, mix 2/3 of the total recommended dose of product. Finally, place the plant in the hole and fill with the soil treated with Solidwater®, for the last 5 cm use the soil that does not contain the product.
Fruit doses: 160-180 gr/tree.
